My Mom Retires!
After working at the FAA First Federal Credit Union for 22 years my mother retired this month. She was the longest serving employee followed by the current president and CEO. They threw the nicest most touching retirement party I could have imagined.
As a gift from her children, we pitched in and bought her a cruise to Alaska. You can see her below in a Coast Guard ship after being rescued from the grounded Empress of the North (She is the one in the orange life jacket).
Knowing my mom, this probably make the whole trip even more fun.

Did I hear right that the last trip you all got for your moms had a return flight scheduled for 9/11/01?
Note to Self: Do not book travel from this family.

That is right, She was dirvert over the mid-atlantic and spent three days in Schiphol International Airport in Amsterdam. They wouldn't let any of the passengers out so she slept on cots for thre days.
Maybe we'll send her to Bethlehem. I hear Israel is nice.

In times like this, it is critical that we properly assess blame. Marty Hodur, eldest of the siblings, selected this ship and this cruise, a choice her younger, trusting siblings dutifully executed. Marty Hodur failed to undertake basic due diligence, which would have revealed that this boat has crashed twice sicne 2003.

Would anyone care to guess who the attorney is in this family?

Hey, that's got nothing to do with it. I'm just sayin...
To quote Mike Tyson, "I don't try to intimidate anybody before a fight. That's nonsense. I intimidate people by hitting them."
